Exhibition “Daily flowers. Portraits of women and children from the count S.K. Kosakovskis set of photographs” opening, 17 PM. At National Čurlionis Art Museum, V. Putvisnkis street 55.

S. K. Kosakovskis, aristocrat who lived and worked in the nineteenth century, liked bourgeois culture invention – photostat. Over a decade, he managed to make over 8000 negatives, mostly at Warsaw and Vaitkuskis manor near Ukmergė city. Interesting fact that none of the pictures made by him were ever sold! The collection of S. K. Kosakovskis consists of 6148 photographs and it is placed at National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum. During the exhibition, which will be open till 31 of January, portraits of women and children will be shown.
