Citizens and foreigners arriving at the ‘vaccination bus’ must have an identity card with them. No need to register in advance. Minors, children and adolescents aged 12 to 16, must come to the vaccination centre with their parents or guardians. It is recommended to have a bottle of water with you on hot days.

As in the previous weeks, the mobile centres will have Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) and Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech) vaccines every day. The quantities of Janssen vaccines reaching the city are expected to be announced on Monday. We will announce the locations and the quantities available on vaccination buses in the official channels of Kaunas municipality – svarbu.kaunas.lt and Facebook account.

The ‘vaccination bus’ to the city companies will run regularly – on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Representatives of interested organizations can contact us by e-mail [email protected], indicating the number of people willing to vaccinate, the name and location of the company. Having this information, Kaunas City Polyclinic physicians and municipal specialists coordinating vaccination routes will contact the responsible representatives of companies regarding the details – vaccines desired by employees, convenient time and date of visits, number of units and other issues.

We would also like to remind you that the vaccination centre of Kaunas Ice Palace is open to residents without prior registration from Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. In the first half of the day, the Ice Palace Vaccination Centre operates normally – it accepts residents registered through the platform vakcinavimas.kaunas.lt.

The total immunization in Kaunas currently exceeded 56 % limit. More than 156 thousand people received the first vaccination of the entire population of the city. Both vaccine doses were received by and immunity is built now in over 47.8 % of Kaunas residents. It is estimated that more than 1.4 thousand people were vaccinated here in less than four working days of ‘vaccination bus’.
