“July 6^th – the day of sightseeing in Kaunas“ is a new initiative in Kaunas which is organized to commemorate the Statehood Day (Coronation of Mindaugas, the King of Lithuania). On July 6^th from 11 o’clock we invite all of you who want to get a better understanding of history, architecture and culture to join the sight-seeing tours.

The company “Ekskursas”, architecture professionals and enthusiasts invite you to try out up to an hour lasting concentrated behind-the-scenes tours of the already known objects (Kaunas Philharmonic Society, city municipal offices, the LSMU Central Court) and many churches.

One of the tours will be held in English – at 14 p.m. at the Central Post the architect Grigo will start a tour about the Interwar Modernist architecture in Kaunas. You can register at Info center, ’L6‘at Central Post Office on that day.
