The exhibition introduces the 20th century architecture of Grenoble (France) which is extraordinary by its colouring. The high quality photography examples illustrate that Grenoble is evaluated for not only the interwar period, but also for the 1960s – 1970s architecture. In 1968 Grenoble hosted the 10th Winter Olympic Games, and using this opportunity Grenoble modernized its infrastructure, built up new buildings that enriched the urban environment by expressive and delicate aesthetics.
